Here are some things to remember when picking blueberries at the Gainesville Organic Blueberry Farm:
Please:
1. Bring your own bags or buckets for picking – none will be provided.
2. Be out by dark !
3. Park so that other cars may pass you on the roads, all roads are being used, please keep this in mind.
4. Check for ticks when you go home – lots of wildlife means lots of ticks.
5. Pick any wild flowers or fruit that you like. There is an alligator in the pond so pick lotus flowers and swim at your own risk.
6. Please close car windows and lock vehicles – we havent had any thefts yet and we would like to keep it that way!
7. There are no waterfountains or working toilets at the farm so plan accordingly.
